After being born and raised in the California Bay Area, they went to Humboldt State University receiving their B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Theatre Arts. Aside from Psychology, Gwynn has experience working with Ron Burrus & Philip Charles MacKenzie at the Art of Acting Studio in LA, The Kennedy Center American Theatre Festival, New Conservatory Theatre Center, and in Fall 2025, Shotgun Players in Berkeley.

Currently, Gwynnevere works as the Coffee Services Coordinator/Barista for Motivat Coffee Roasters as well as a Teaching Artist/Private Coach for American Conservatory Theater’s Young Conservatory in San Francisco. In their free time -regardless of stage or film- stage they love working as a freelance intimacy director/choreographer.

Additionally, they have been appointed to The Kennedy Center’s ASPIRE Arts Administrative Cohort, production managed for Dell’Arte International, served as Artistic Producer for Lime Arts Productions, and served as an associate editor for Theatre in Higher Education’s “Doctoral Projects in Progress ‘20” publication.

Gwynnevere hopes working in Intimacy Directing will integrate their advocacy and psychology background with theatre. They advocate for consent-based practices and the intersectionality of the arts.

Catch them as Mopsa in “Head Over Heels” at City Lights Theatre Company in San Jose from July through August!
